I'm sitting here, sipping a Mug root beer. I LOVE root beer. I've had lots of different kinds too. My favorites are A&W and Sioux City Sarsaparilla (my dad used to buy it once in awhile as a treat for my sister and I).
For the root beer lovers out there - what's your favorite brand?

I love the strong taste of the root beer brewed at local breweries, but I'd have to say that Mug (diet) root beer is my favorite. It has a kind of buttery taste that the others don't have.
I do not like the canned stuff. I prefer going to the local drive-in in the warmer months (when it's open) and buying some of their fresh homemade rootbeer. That's the only way to go, it is so rich and creamy.

i love root beer! Barq's is my personal fave :-)
I also love me some root beer. It just hits the spot sometimes. i am a fan of culvers rootbeer. they make it at the stores and let me tell you, for fast food its one of the best root beers I have had. really i like all though.
